My mouse pad is a book by Mike Moss on First John. In it, he warns about people who claim to have &quot;superior knowledge,&quot; because in that day what was one person&#039;s &quot;superior knowledge&quot; was another person&#039;s heresy. John&#039;s message is not that Christianity needs to evolve into some higher order of existence, but that Christians need to hang on to what they&#039;ve already been taught.</description>
