Does It Matter Who Does It?
by Steve Higginbotham
June 27, 2007
For the past two weeks, the evening news has carried stories about a missing woman by the name of Jessie Davis.  Miss Davis disappeared on June 13, and her body was discovered ten days later.

One of the tragic elements of this story is the fact that miss Davis was nine months pregnant when she went missing, and not only was her life taken, but also the life of her unborn baby.

A man has since been arrested and charged with two murders, that of miss Davis and her unborn child.

Now for the record, I agree with the double murder charge.  But I cannot reconcile such a charge in light of our present laws regarding abortion.  To the unborn child, I don't think it matters whether his life was taken by an assailant, or his mother and her doctor conspiring together.  Do you?

Give it some thought.
