Change Your Name

The story is told that during the days of
Alexander the Great, there were a number of men who in a
particular battle, distinguished themselves as cowards. These
men were lined up before the great leader. Alexander the Great
came to all of the men and asked, "Young man, what is your
name?" One young soldier said, "My name is Alexander, sir."
Reportedly, Alexander the Great firmly replied, "Either change
your name or change your conduct!"
I wonder what the Lord would say to
many of us who wear the name Christian? Would he tell us to
change our name or change our conduct? Or are we bringing honor
to his name by the way we live? Give it some thought.
