Year End Statistics

PH KeyboardIt was in 1990 when I decided to create a website to archive Biblical materials. In the early days, I had to memorize HTML code and create the site manually in HTML through a lot of trial and error.  This was really time intensive, especially to change or update. A few years later, WYSIWYG editors (What You See Is What You Get) came out and those programs sure made things easier. Then came along WordPress. This hosting platform has made blogging and archiving materials extremely easy.  It sure has become much easier to maintain a website than it was 25 years ago.

However, maintaining a website and keeping it fresh and up-to-date is not easy and requires time and work.  However, from at least my perspective, doing so is a stewardship issue. During the past 25 years, several million people have accessed this site. I could never reach that many people without the Internet and if I could, the cost would be unimaginable. Yet through this website, I’ve been able to reach this many people for comparatively very little financial investment.

That said, at the end of each year I share a few stats that you might find interesting. Here they are. In 2015…

I hope you’ll bookmark this site and use it as a tool to help spread the gospel to the world. Who knows, maybe an article, sermon outline, or an audio or video sermon you share might make an eternal difference in the life of someone else.
